Where are you going to draw the lines in the sand for 2022?

Do you like taking long weekends every month or every so often? Is that a goal you have for 2022 to be able to take more long weekends and getaways or at least more time for yourself personally?

I know this is a goal for me… and we’ve actually done that a lot in 2021 already, especially since we bought the trailer at the very beginning of January!

We’ve taken at least 10 trips this year, even during covid, it was awesome to be able to go “glamping” more and getaway rather than be stuck at home. I even got out and flew to 3 events this year too – boy, was that a treat!

My goals have changed since Covid thrust us into more of a secluded lifestyle – have yours?

I also have seen that it takes just as much money to run my business without all the traveling as it did WITH it – but I made MORE money and traveled less. Huh?

That’s one of the things I plan to change in 2022 for sure, very STRATEGICALLY PLANNED TRAVEL. I am very careful now which things I say YES to – in person OR online. I value my time more. I set better boundaries. I say NO to those things that don’t serve me, my family or my clients, regardless of what the other people say or think about it!

Where are you going to draw the lines in the sand for 2022? What will you give up, say no to, or set boundaries around. 

I just got off the phone with a couple who between the two of them were working over 100 hours per WEEK! I didn’t ask them their age, but I’m guessing late 60’s, early 70’s. When I asked them what they were bringing in for income each month for the last 6 months or so they said just $2,000/mo.

I HATE to hear this! This totally 100% breaks my heart. And frankly I spent over an hour with them on the phone sharing all kinds of things to help them because I just couldn’t help myself…. I didn’t want them to go one more month with getting paid $5/hour. Life is WAY TOO SHORT to settle for that kind of life. And I don’t care if you’re “NEW” – don’t use that excuse. You can make thousands right from the get-go with the right offerings, processes and exposure.

Who knows if they’ll take me up on my offer to help them or if they’ll continue on trying to figure it all out themselves. I don’t know and I can’t control that.

All I know is that sometimes all it takes is a couple calls to set someone straight on what they REALLY need to do to start pulling in a LOT more profit.
