Do you have at least two offers when you’re in a sales conversation with somebody one-on-one? If not you might want to think about what else you could offer because asking them to join or buy your “one thing” is a yes or no question, right?
When you have at least two offers you have a “this or that” close. My favorite way to make an offer! Because they have to choose one of the other there is no “no” about it. There’s only objections and concerns which you can always learn how to talk through. And you should continue honing your skills around this type of conversation, especially if you’re selling high-end program product or service.
And if you’re not selling a high-end program product or service, why not? What can you offer that can give somebody more value more access or a deeper understanding or transformation? Remember, your genius is what you should charge the most for!
And if you’re newer to business and think that you don’t have enough people on your list or in your world yet which is why you’re still only offering one-on-one and not a group program because the likelihood of filling it is low, that doesn’t mean you can’t still talk about it.
Talk about having a group or high-end Mastermind or some other option like a leveraged workshop or event perhaps, and you just keep talking about it until somebody buys it. Once the first person buys it then you schedule it for like 6 to 8 weeks out and you focus on selling into it from there! You don’t have to overthink this, you just have to start talking to more people. You can do this!
