This is one of those shifts that changes everything.
Because most entrepreneurs are out here talking about what they do.
“I offer coaching.”
“I run a program.”
“I provide services.”
And while that’s technically true… it’s not what people are buying.
People don’t wake up thinking:
“I really hope I can buy a 6-month coaching package today.”
They wake up thinking:
“I need to fix this problem.”
“I want to feel better.”
“I’m tired of being stuck here.”
They’re buying outcomes. They’re buying change. They’re buying a different version of their life.
And if your messaging is focused on the “thing” instead of the transformation… you’re making it harder for people to say yes.
Let me give you an example.
If you’re a professional organizer, you’re not selling organizing sessions.
You’re selling:
- A calm, clutter-free home
- Less stress
- More mental space
If you’re a business coach, you’re not selling calls.
You’re selling:
- Consistent income
- Clarity in decision-making
- Confidence in growth
If you’re a health coach, you’re not selling a plan.
You’re selling:
- Energy
- Sustainability
- A completely different relationship with their body
And here’s where it gets even more important:
Transformation takes time. It’s not instant. It’s not a quick fix.
And that’s why your offer needs to reflect the full journey, not just a small piece of it.
Because if you only sell a fraction of the process, your client only gets a fraction of the result.
So when you’re talking about your offer, I want you to zoom out.
Don’t just explain what’s included. Paint the before and after.
Show them what life looks like now…
And what it could look like if they commit.
Because that’s what people are really buying.
