Most entrepreneurs I talk to are putting in the effort:

  • Speaking
  • Networking
  • Posting
  • Filming videos
  • DM’ing prospects
  • Making offers
  • Doing (some) follow-up

And yet, they’re still not seeing the clicks, calls, or conversions.

So what’s going wrong? Let’s break it down.


1. Your Messaging Might Be Off (And You Don’t Even Realize It)

Client attraction starts with what you SAY.

If you’re not getting people to:

✔ Pay attention

✔ Click

✔ Book a call

✔ Buy

…then something in your message isn’t hitting their hot buttons.

You may not be talking about the right pain point, urgency, or desire your audience actually cares about. If the words aren’t connecting emotionally, they’re scrolling right past you.

2. Your Web Pages Aren’t Built to Convert

If your goal is getting people to click and buy from a webpage, here’s the uncomfortable truth:

You need to know your numbers.

Are you tracking:

  • Traffic?
  • Time on page?
  • Clicks?
  • Where do they bounce off?

If not, you’re flying blind.

And if people ARE landing on your page but not staying or buying, your copy or structure isn’t working.

High-converting pages should include:

✔ Clear, emotional copy

✔ Trust factors (address, phone number, testimonials, refund policy)

✔ Clear instructions on what to do next

✔ A compelling headline

✔ Real details that help people make a buying decision

Most entrepreneurs unintentionally make it hard for people to buy. People are busy – spell out exactly what to do like they’re five years old… because honestly, that’s what works.

3. Your Sales Conversations Aren’t Creating Confidence

When you DO get someone on a sales call, but they don’t buy, the issue is usually one of these:

Not being 100% clear about your offer

If YOU sound confused, they won’t buy.

Giving the price too early

Never share pricing before establishing trust, value, and emotional connection.

Not diving deep enough into the pain or urgency

Many entrepreneurs avoid uncomfortable conversations.

But clients invest when they clearly see:

  • The problem
  • The cost of staying stuck
  • The benefit of solving it

Not having the right offer or not pivoting when needed

You must be flexible. If your usual package doesn’t fit, craft something that does.

Not handling objections properly

When clients say things like:

“Let me think about it…”

“It’s not the right time…”

“I’m not sure…”

These are almost always fears, not actual objections.

Sales is SERVICE. If you believe your work can change lives, then you must confidently continue the conversation.

Sending proposals instead of booking a second call

Never email a proposal.

If they didn’t buy on call #1, book call #2.

Email makes it too easy for them to ghost or say no.

4. Your Mindset Might Be Sabotaging Your Sales

Here’s the truth:

Your beliefs dictate your bank account.

Ask yourself:

  • Do I believe I’m worth high-ticket prices?
  • Do I feel uncomfortable when others invest in me?
  • Does selling feel “icky” or “pushy”?
  • Do I overgive or discount out of fear?

Your clients can feel all of this… even if you never say it out loud.

Most entrepreneurs think their biggest problem is strategy, but often it’s their mindset holding them back.
