11:05:28 We are recording. Boot camp accountability call number one of two for february I don't know where everybody is, but I think they kind of give up on this, you know? 11:05:40 It's kind of silly because it's ongoing coaching for whatever it is you need. And you said you're doing a retreat. So that's And you're in the middle of follow-up. 11:05:48 From an event or two. How can I help you with any of that? 11:05:54 Yeah, thank you. And, you know, it's so interesting, Katrina because like I still have a hard time asking for help like so many women, right? I'm sure you've heard this a gazillion times before. 11:06:07 One of the things I'm wanting to do more VIP work like helping people if they have a keynote, but it's not hitting you know, it's not getting them results or it's boring Or if they're a podcast guesting and they're not 11:06:24 Their list isn't growing. Like every time you do an episode, your list should be growing. 11:06:29 And then obviously still doing the short form video stuff. Which I always have like an ongoing program So I've been doing these master classes Um… Or invite people, you know, it's a webinar, right? 11:06:51 And I want to start doing not just the video classes, but I want to do one that's geared towards speaking So that people can hear about my VIP stuff, right? 11:07:02 So I want to do one that's more about speaking and then I want to do another one that's more about podcast guesting. 11:07:09 And so… 11:07:13 Do you have any ideas or thoughts on I mean, you do webinars, right? Masterclasses. What do you call them? 11:07:22 I change it all the time I don't know. 11:07:24 Okay. To keep it fresh kind of. 11:07:27 A lot of times I call it a training. Um i think that i think master class still works webinar i think they all kind of work for the right audience. It just kind of depends on your audience to see what they would like to. 11:07:39 Okay. 11:07:45 But the Obviously, I mean, you're good at speaking, so you know how to design a presentation that gets people to want what you've got. Yes. 11:07:55 We just have to get more people there. 11:07:55 Right. Yeah, that's one of my biggest things and i I have gotten better at like doing the reach outs um but Yeah, I'm wondering, how often do you survey your list 11:08:14 I'm serving my list right now. But I can tell you that out of the thousands and thousands of people I think I've only gotten about 10 responses or something like that. It's driving me insane. 11:08:25 Hey, that's, yeah. 11:08:26 Yeah, it's driving me insane that people won't fill out a survey Because you want to help them know what they need, right? 11:08:35 Right. 11:08:38 I think people have too many things coming their direction. Like I was going through my database and updating it so I could finally just send one email instead of two. 11:08:46 Right. 11:08:49 And… And I was noticing the people that are still on my list, right? And I'm like, wow, I can't believe she's still on my list or he's still on my list. I'm like. 11:08:58 That's interesting. I wonder what they're getting out of it, right? I would really like to know where they're at today. So it is interesting to I think it's worth doing a survey. Don't spend a lot of money or time creating the survey. 11:09:14 Yeah. 11:09:13 Just put it together so that because what if you only get a handful or two of people filling it out. But I think it's worth doing. 11:09:22 I think too for the webinars and masterclasses, hello anne we are talking about the name. 11:09:28 Hi, Anne. 11:09:30 Three classes to get people that are interested in her VIP one-on-one 11:09:38 I think the more opportunities you give them, so you'll see people that have these masterclasses or trainings or whatever. 11:09:44 And then you get to pick the day that you want to attend it, right? 11:09:49 Right. 11:09:49 Some of those people have it on automation. So they've done it once and then it's just replays that looks like it's live. 11:09:56 Then some of them may actually show up in the chat somehow and there's software for that I don't know that I would do that at this stage. 11:10:07 Yeah, I don't think, I mean, I think part of And eventually, I know this needs to shift, but I'm very much a part of my brand like 11:10:16 Yeah. I think it's doing them live. So you just have to figure out how many can I do live in a month or a quarter. 11:10:19 Yeah. 11:10:24 Right. 11:10:23 And plot them out and so if Because you have three different topics, it sounded like, right? Three different topics, three different buckets you would put them in. 11:10:30 Right. Right. 11:10:33 But you would help them all the same one-on-one some way, correct? 11:10:38 Right. Yeah. 11:10:39 So they're all funneling into the same thing, but there are three different messages and types of people or things they're looking for. 11:10:47 Right. Yeah. Thank you. Very helpful. 11:10:50 So that's important. And so what you might do is Number one, make sure you have the right web pages and systems to get people in. 11:10:59 Make sure you plot those dates on the calendar way in advance, like four or five months in advance. 11:11:03 Right, great. Right. 11:11:05 So that people, and it used to be that you're like, don't tell them the upcoming day, just tell them the one you're trying to fill right now. And I think that's bullshit. 11:11:16 Yeah. 11:11:12 I think you just need to put it in Or… and you need different lists for the different topics. 11:11:22 Right. Okay. 11:11:22 Not just one list for your free calls. So because you want to be able to segment market those people that are interested in podcast guesting versus doing speeches right so I think the first thing we want to do is set up all those pages and dates so that the CIS and then the email, I'll follow up with the links. 11:11:40 All right. 11:11:43 To the thing and all that. Is the first thing to set up. You've got to set up the machine first And then go tell people to come and get into the machine. 11:11:49 Yeah, okay. 11:11:55 Okay. Thank you. 11:11:55 And so your email newsletters need to have like upcoming events and this class, this class, this class, right? 11:12:02 And I think all three classes. If you can do them off three within a, say every two weeks you do an event and you just keep rotating something like that. 11:12:12 Yeah. I love that. Thank you. 11:12:16 Yeah, that feels doable. And I like… Because when it's just a once a month, it just seems like, you know, if you're meeting somebody, yeah. 11:12:24 Not at all. Not enough. No. 11:12:27 Okay, thank you. 11:12:28 In fact, I almost said all three in one month, every month, but that's a lot and so And you don't want to have like two people here and five people here and But you can't help who wants to learn what, right? So if you don't have that many people on your list, you'll start seeing a trend 11:12:42 Right. 11:12:47 I wouldn't let up on this strategy. However, I would do it for six months consistently. 11:12:51 For example, a minimum every two weeks something. 11:12:52 Yeah. I did it almost every month last year and it really does help as far as visibility, influence, you know, even if 11:13:04 Yeah. 11:13:02 Endless building and getting people on your list. And it's always something free that you can promote on social too so Just watch the links and the posts and all that and make sure when you're creating promo pieces for those. 11:13:13 For social that the link is in the chat. So I own a domain called jumpstartevents.net. 11:13:20 And so I forward that URL to my events page. So I make sure my events page is up to date with the current events. 11:13:28 And then any memes that go out or images that are created regarding any event whatsoever. 11:13:28 Okay. 11:13:37 Perfect. Okay. 11:13:34 Should technically have that link on it. Jumpstartevents.net. So it's more evergreen Right. And so then it can drive people to that page and I don't have to get all complicated with the long ass link. 11:13:48 So one link forward it to your events page. 11:13:52 Have an events page, keep it updated. I tasked my assistant with keeping that updated so I don't have to remember, oh, this thing, I forgot to take it off and put this one on. 11:14:01 So it's on her calendar to update every month. Along with my homepage because my home page has an upcoming events section just for like images and then it links over to the the event from there as well because people look at your homepage, but they might also look at the events page 11:14:18 Right. Okay. 11:14:18 So those are important. That's what I mean by setting up the system. And then each page or each thing has to have a sign up page and a thank you page, right? So the thank you page is Or you can… 11:14:28 Right. But that's easy to create and go high level, right? I just have to make sure it's all 11:14:34 Yes, but I don't know that I would do it and go high level as a landing page. I would do it on your website. 11:14:39 Oh, really? 11:14:48 Okay. 11:14:40 Oh, 100%. Yeah, you want the stuff that's really important on your webpage, on your website Not in Go High Level. You don't want a bunch of landing pages randomly. And one of the reasons is SEO. If you do go high level pages, they're up briefly and they don't have long-term 11:15:00 You add more stuff to your website. Hopefully it's WordPress, but if not, it's still the same. You have more stuff to your website and tells Google, come back to my website and look, I have new content. 11:15:10 Okay. Consistently putting stuff and go high level, that's not helping your website get any more traffic whatsoever. 11:15:10 Okay. 11:15:16 Okay. Thank you. That's, yeah. The person who's been advising me is a go high level person and I don't she calls herself like a online business manager, but she's more like a VA, which is one reason I need to find somebody new. 11:15:31 Yeah. People that are focused on one particular software are, of course, going to tell you the amazing things about all you can do with this software and do everything in the software. 11:15:40 And I don't agree with that because there's many other reasons Yeah, it's just chaos. Like you can't have one. No, no. 11:15:50 I have 250 pages on my WordPress website and I use and I constantly am creating more. 11:15:57 Wow, 250? That's so cool. 11:15:56 Okay. Yes, because everything has two pages. 11:16:03 Okay. 11:16:03 Everything I sell, every free thing I have, I have probably 20 to 25 free things on my website. 11:16:09 You wouldn't see them in the dropdown because they're all for specific events and giveaways and summits and things like that. And some of them I leave open because who knows if they A lot of times people opt in for an old thing 11:16:21 Months later, right? So I don't shut them down I just leave them there and they're all hidden. 11:16:23 Right. 11:16:27 Oh my God. Thank you. Brilliant. Thank you so much. 11:16:31 Yeah, the more content you add to your website, the higher up on the search engines organically you're going to get. 11:16:37 Okay. Okay. 11:16:38 More often you're dabbling on your website, the better. But you also have to do the basic SEO stuff on your web pages. So you got to know a little bit about that. 11:16:46 It doesn't take a lot of time to know that but I can show you. 11:16:49 Okay. That's… I'm still kind of updating. 11:16:54 My thumbnails and a few things on my website, but 11:16:57 A lot of it's important. I don't do every little thing, but I know what to do. I can tell you what to do and i and then You know, there's a lot, right? I used to have a very techie person on my team 11:17:09 Like completely techie. So anytime I would upload, she would have something on her calendar to go in and fix all the images that I've uploaded in the last week And she would pull them off and resize them and rename them and then put them back. 11:17:21 Because I don't have the time. I don't have the time to do all of that. And nor should I. 11:17:25 No, it's not the height. Right. 11:17:25 But I also am more of a creative. So I have to create the webpage with all the things that I know need to be there. 11:17:33 She can go clean it up in the back end i can't. 11:17:49 Okay. 11:17:37 I personally am not good. It's not that I can't. I'm not good at advising her exactly how to set up because she's not very She doesn't design well. So I design better than she did, right? So giving it to her to design is not a good thing, but doing it and then having her fix it for 11:17:55 Reasons was better for me. That's just my way. So that's how I did it. 11:17:59 Okay, thank you. Thank you so much. 11:18:04 Good. Well, we'll keep… We'll keep talking, see what's up with Anne, and then come back around. 11:18:05 Ian! 11:18:10 So Anne, how are you today? Happy Monday. You're big. 11:18:20 Great. 11:18:16 Hi. So were you actually talking about doing evergreen webinar or 11:18:25 Not evergreen. We're still talking to her to do live. You should too because you don't have as many people on your list. 11:18:32 Right. Yeah, I've done, I mean… 11:18:32 For sure. Yeah. And I… I'm not going to do evergreen because people need to experience us. 11:18:40 And. 11:18:39 Well, I find that the evergreen really is um You know, I find it more for like big companies when they want to do something Like really big companies. 11:18:50 Yeah. For those entrepreneurs that are making millions of dollars Then they have a team of six or 10. 11:18:58 And they have all these things coming in and they just can't be bothered or whatever. But that's fine. 11:18:58 Yeah. 11:19:04 Yeah, so… So what's our question today? 11:19:09 What do we… 11:19:05 That's awesome. So what we're doing today is just kind of checking in as to what you, this is an accountability call for the boot camp. 11:19:16 It's one of two for February. And then there's two more in March, just to hi Anita. 11:19:21 So the 3rd and the 17th this month and the third and the 17th next month. So that will complete this program that you guys are in. So FYI. 11:19:31 But it's just like open laser coaching, brainstorming, what do you need to do? What have you done? Let's celebrate what you have done. 11:19:38 Where are you focused? What do you need help with? We were just talking to Elaine about managing some of her web pages to really maximize the free cause that she wants to do. 11:19:50 And the whole machine that she needs to set up in order to start promoting. 11:19:57 Okay. Yay. 11:19:54 So I'm speaking at Polkadot tomorrow. And yay, so I'm working on my presentation or finalizing my presentation for that. 11:20:05 You and I talked about that. A couple weeks ago when we had our call so 11:20:13 So you're all set up with that. You don't need any help. 11:20:17 Okay, good. 11:20:18 I think I'm okay with that. And I did… a bunch of free calls Last year… 11:20:32 I still like the idea of doing something monthly. I think the harder part is… like all the detail of all the detail you know. 11:20:46 Getting it set up. And really, I carved out time this week to just follow up. 11:20:57 From… from the business reimagine conference. 11:21:07 I wrote myself… I'm looking down here because my little notebook. 11:21:17 I just sat there and wrote a list of you know everybody I needed to follow up with. 11:21:26 That necessarily wasn't in my… they weren't necessarily in my um My… drawing, but they were people that, you know, I had met and things like that so 11:21:44 So the key to follow up because you go to a lot of events, you speak at a lot of events, you do a lot of exhibitor booths as well. 11:21:50 Right. Yeah. 11:21:50 Is to create that machine and that system. So I know we created some follow-up emails previously for a different event. 11:21:59 I would encourage you to pull those out and copy those. 11:22:05 Yeah. 11:22:04 And then just the way that we did them was the email was all the same except like the first two one or two paragraphs And where you met. So I call it the where met, right? So, hey, it was great meeting you at the blankety blank event. 11:22:21 Yeah. 11:22:19 I would, you know. There might be a couple different emails like we we met, you didn't necessarily enter my drawing And then you enter my drawing people. So there's two different things for that. 11:22:31 Yeah, so a couple of things that happened was people I had conversations with people So… I accepted a whole bunch of, you know. 11:22:48 Invitation or, you know, like connects for Facebook and LinkedIn. I also reached out. There were a couple of people I reached out to. The interesting thing, like when I looked on LinkedIn was it also suggested, oh, you should connect with this person so 11:23:04 And they were also there. 11:23:05 I was strategic about it, though. I didn't just go and connect with every single person. I went and Oh, I like that person. I'm going to connect with them, that type of thing. 11:23:18 And you sent a message with every request or acceptance, yes? 11:23:21 I did not do that, but I am going to go back and… Right. 11:23:27 Impact so i get you. Sometimes we're just but i would encourage you to create one message that you can copy paste, copy, paste, copy, paste, copy, paste just as quick as If you know what I mean. 11:23:37 Okay. Because then I… You know, there was a couple people that So had… I… You know… So there were a couple of people that I connected with on Facebook who had already sent me messages and I didn't even realize it because 11:24:05 Yeah. 11:24:03 So anyways, I have… set up, I had set up with them. So basically this this week is… You have said it and then julie Davis, Julie Miller Davis said. 11:24:23 Um… connecting like putting it on your calendar. I was just like… Oh, yeah, that's a good point. You know, it was something so obvious and and um like putting it on a calendar. So I carved out time put an appointment basically with myself to carve to fill a 11:24:51 To follow up there's um 11:24:50 Yeah, good. But you're going to need more than one. So you're going to need at least one or two hour block. 11:24:57 Oh, yeah. 11:25:02 Yeah. 11:25:00 Say tomorrow or sometime. And then you're going to need probably a week later another block Because you want to send another follow-up email okay 11:25:09 Well, so, and I tell people that um 11:25:16 Pj Van Hull, who is now like Penelope Smith. You know, PJ probably. 11:25:21 Yeah. 11:25:23 Long, long time ago, I went to a thing and she said the day… You know, like after you do something you should just plan some downtime. So I did that Friday. 11:25:40 Okay. 11:25:46 Thank you. 11:25:37 And I went and got a massage on Friday night. But while I was having a massage, I was sitting there thinking of all, I was all figuring out like the rest of the year, you know, things that I wanted to do 11:25:55 And then I said, wait a minute, you got to come back and focus on getting the massage. 11:26:00 But at least it did give me uh… the enthusiasm to think, oh, you know what this is really what I want to have happen for this year. 11:26:13 Awesome. 11:26:13 So… So basically I'm just… carving out time Yeah, you're making a good, I mean, I have to… I'm going to put, I'm really sorry my nose is… drippy this morning. 11:26:31 So real quickly about follow-up, because I know Elaine was doing some too she said is the thing about connecting on Facebook and LinkedIn and or Instagram is the private message is the king. The whole reason you want to connect with somebody on any of those platforms these days 11:26:47 Is so that you can direct message them. Not in a salesy, hey, buy my thing way, but you can start a relationship because they're paying attention to those messages, the majority. 11:26:57 So I just wanted to compliment and thank you for You know, you've said that and you've said modeled it, right? So because I'm talking at polka dot Last night, I got on and I went and sent out some personal invites through Facebook Messenger 11:27:21 To… some different people who are going to come, a couple of people had already intended to come But I got one gal that And I know it would be good for her business anyways. I know that for her I'd love to have her come. And ironically, I didn't even know this. I don't even pay attention sometimes. Her salon is right across the street from the restaurant where we're having 11:27:48 The um the event. 11:27:52 So I got back in touch with her. We're birthday twins. We're born on the same Same day, same year. So we've We met through another group. So she's coming, which I'm excited about. 11:28:07 And then… And then even if it doesn't even if they couldn't come, it's still a great way to connect, right? 11:28:17 So, um. 11:28:18 Drawing slip forms to pass out or some kind of way to get their contact info. 11:28:24 You mean tomorrow? 11:28:26 Yes. Drawing slips. Name, email, phone number of people that want to subscribe to your email. 11:28:30 Okay. 11:28:33 Remember, the number one goal of any marketing, including speaking and networking, should be to build your email list. 11:28:38 Well, that's funny because that's what I'm actually. So one of the things I'm talking about is what's marketing and what sales what marketing is to build your 11:28:46 Yes. You have to be the example so you could say then you have to follow through with emails. 11:28:55 Yeah. 11:28:54 Yes. Yes. And I just scheduled myself to write the email So I just scheduled myself to do that. 11:29:03 So that's the, you know, scheduling 11:29:08 But you have drawing slips that you had on your table this last week, so don't you? 11:29:12 Okay, so just make sure that in your go bag. So like if you go to events a lot. 11:29:12 Oh, yeah. Yeah. 11:29:19 Yeah, I do have a go back. I mean, actually, I also… 11:29:17 In person. You should have to go back. Not just you, I'm talking to everybody. Everybody should have a go bag of your flyers, your postcards, your drawing slips. 11:29:29 Any books that you might have, at least five. Business cards. 11:29:36 A stand or any flyer stands or anything where you can put on a promotional table. All of those things should be in your go bag. 11:29:44 For any event and should be in your trunk or your car at all times because you never know when you're going to be able to put stuff on a display table just randomly, even with a bunch of other people. You just never know. 11:29:55 You know, a lot of times at the chamber, for example, there's a marketing table, but everybody puts out flat stacks of things, right? So what do I do? I bring the little stand that you can put a flyer in. 11:30:02 Right. 11:30:05 Either the one you can pull the flyer from and or I bring three stands and I push them all the way to the back of table so it doesn't even take up that much room. 11:30:13 The ones about like a free business thing with a big QR code. One's about my books publishing with a QR code. 11:30:19 And one was about my event, right? So I had three signs. It did take up took a lot less room than most people on that table. 11:30:27 But I had like huge amounts of huge space, if you know what I mean, because I'm upright and they're all flat. 11:30:36 And… 11:30:35 So that's just a key. I know you have opportunities to do that too. All of us do in Polkad when we're in person so I would recommend you guys think about things like that, how to show up bigger and different 11:30:47 In other ways. 11:30:48 And I have, which I liked, is that I have a vertical stand that has room for my flyers and then it has room for my business cards all in one. 11:30:59 Yeah, I'm just talking about this okay like just a little So this is one I had at the event. 11:31:03 Yeah. Yeah. 11:31:07 To donate if you got a free ticket. So yeah. That doesn't have to be an antibody. 11:31:11 And I am… for the jumps, the Business Reimagine Conference, I just also um created one that's just a QR code and it's all about… directly talking to having a phone call with me. 11:31:31 So… 11:31:31 The other thing for all of you in person is to have an order form, right? You want to have a printed order form because you never know when you're going to have a conversation with someone that says. 11:31:40 Yeah, I do need some help with that. What do you have? And you're like, well, I have this program and you should get it. And then, oh, well, you can sign up right now because I have this form and you can put your credit card on it and then I'll get you enrolled and you'll be in the 11:31:53 And like fun right so If you don't have this, then you have to set up a call or you have to send them a link later. 11:31:59 And it doesn't always follow through. But if you have it, you can say, well, let me pull this out. 11:32:05 I'm talking to you. 11:32:02 And… That's such a good point too because the QR, because I have the QR code to sign up for a marketing club, but people are like, oh yeah, I totally want to do that and then I have to go back to your mind that, yeah, now I'm going to set up an order form. 11:32:15 I've got them. I want to be in charge of the sale. I want to be in charge of them signing up, which means I have a clip to fill out. 11:32:21 Yes. Yes. 11:32:24 I don't care like these electronic ways to get on people's lists and First off, don't always work, right? You don't always have service in the room or whatnot. 11:32:28 Yeah. 11:32:33 I want to be in charge of the sale. 11:32:36 Well, you are that that's… That is a long time ago when I was doing Sandler Sales. 11:32:44 That's the number one thing that they talked that, you know, he talked about was You're in charge of the sale. 11:32:53 Not at all. 11:32:53 I want to charge the follow-up too. I don't just want to pass my cards. I want to get everybody else's contact information, whether they have a card Or they have to fill out a slip. I don't add it to my phone. 11:33:03 I will not add somebody to my phone because it'll just get lost in the fricking phone and I will forget who the hell this person is and I don't have a system for that. 11:33:12 So unless you have a system for that, which is rare to see for people anyways. 11:33:16 I want to get to Anahita but um So I want to make sure we have time for her and then come back around as well again. 11:33:27 While you're talking to her, I'm going to make my little list. I have… 11:33:30 Make your list. We'll go to Anahita. And then we'll see what else comes up for anybody else while we're talking. 11:33:38 All right, girl. You're fine. 11:33:38 Hello. Hi. Sorry I'm late. Okay. 11:33:46 Celebration is that the three websites that I'm working on All three of them will be launched by end of this week and I need to get more websites. 11:33:58 Awesome, though. How fast. That's fast. 11:34:01 Yeah, it wasn't that fast though. I had to wait along time for people to give me information. But yes. 11:34:10 I think that was longer than 90. 11:34:11 I've been working on this since November and December was like a half a month It's good. 11:34:16 90 days is fast for a website. So anything less than that is a rock star. 11:34:21 Okay, just telling you. 90 days is quick for website turnaround. 11:34:22 Sorry for… 11:34:28 So anything less than that is rock star and you should be proud. 11:34:27 Oh, okay. Thank you. I appreciate it. I'll take that. Thanks a lot. 90 days. 11:34:35 Yeah. 11:34:37 So I had one question, but your information about in-person events got my attention, so I'll go quickly. I'm doing a talk at the worldwide chapter And the top title, I'm going to share my screen. 11:34:58 Can I share? 11:34:59 Yeah, hold on. 11:35:04 Go ahead. And we're recording. Just saying. 11:35:08 Yeah, that's okay. I think it's okay. Should I? I don't know. 11:35:13 Um, yeah. This is the talk that I think I'm doing as a webinar myself. 11:35:23 Love. 11:35:22 Because I don't want to get people who build websites. I want to get people who need websites to come to this masterclass. 11:35:30 Okay. Love it. 11:35:30 So it's called from clicks to click Yeah, ultimate website conversion. I'm not sure about playbook because this is not a playbook. 11:35:41 You like that name? Yeah. 11:35:43 Yeah. 11:35:43 Well, Playbook is a product. You might have a system or formula instead because that's your signature system then. So if you're going to teach them the process and the things you need in the ultimate website conversion, it should be a formula or 11:35:59 Or something like that and then 11:35:59 Yeah. It could be called master class because it's actually a masterclass i'm teaching there The other name that I had that's actually worldwide, White has it is the secret to a converting website. 11:36:16 But this one, I thought it will attract a lot of people that build websites to come and learn, which I don't want them on the call. 11:36:26 So that I really want to get your opinion on this. 11:36:31 I like click to clients. 11:36:33 Yeah. 11:36:32 Me too. I like them both, but I think… 11:36:36 I like it and i feel like I like it As somebody who has a website, but I know I can always upgrade it. 11:36:45 I don't build websites. I have people build them for me. 11:36:45 Okay. 11:36:50 So… Okay, perfect. 11:36:49 But this would pique my interest. 11:36:56 Oh, no. 11:36:52 And I like formula. Because what you're doing is you're teaching the formula. 11:37:04 And I want to know what that is. I don't necessarily want to do that. 11:37:07 Yeah. 11:37:11 Yeah. 11:37:11 They only have 11:37:15 I like to play that too. Yeah. 11:37:11 I like formula. I also like playbook. A system right now, a system makes me feel overwhelmed but that's That's just me. But I like playbook a lot 11:37:24 I like playbook. 11:37:25 Katrina? 11:37:36 I need a book for it, right? Flavor. 11:37:26 Well, I think playbook is, again, I feel like it's a product. I feel like If you are going to create this written thing and you're going to give them Give them tools and or instruction and it's going to be in a written thing, then that's the playbook. 11:37:40 Yeah. 11:37:44 This is the formula that goes in the playbook. That you're teaching and then what you're selling is the ultimate website conversion package or system or service or something like that. 11:37:58 See how you're… Yeah. 11:37:57 Okay. Yeah, the idea is that I do this talk and at the end of it I was going to offer a free website review like a half an hour for them to come And hopefully through that, I will like 11:38:18 Offer them the website audit, which is that 90 minutes that we talked about or If they're ready, I will give them a website package. 11:38:28 How much is the website added again? 90 minutes? 11:38:31 And it was 297. 11:38:35 I give that away. 11:38:38 I don't know that I would because she's going to give them everything and they can take it back to their their designers do it. 11:38:43 Yeah, that website audit, I'm giving everything that they need to build a website. 11:38:47 Okay. 11:38:48 She's going to walk through all the pages and tell them all the things as much as she can in 90 minutes. 11:38:53 But the free website review, it's a good thing for even some people came to Get information. 11:38:59 You just have to make sure when you describe them too the free website review and the paid 90 minute audit that you really use the words differently because you can't say, I'm going to do this They can't be so similar. 11:39:10 Yeah. Yeah, I'm not even mentioning the audit in the call, in the talk. 11:39:13 Gotcha. 11:39:18 I'm only mentioning the free website review that on the website review, if their next step, then I'll mention the 11:39:34 Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. 11:39:30 Right. So you'll either design their new website fix that or do a 90 minute review. It's this or that or that. 11:39:41 Okay. I mean, I think That's a good strategy. 11:39:39 Yeah. Yeah. So… Yeah. 11:39:45 I can't see any holes in that. But that logo that you showed me, I want to move that from. 11:39:50 I don't know the word from on top of it with a capital F because it's the beginning of a sentence. 11:39:55 I just want to. I just want to move that word from from lingering over there on the left. 11:39:56 Oh, I see. I see, I see. 11:40:01 Two on top of the top of clicks somewhere short or something that's I just wanted to 11:40:07 Oh, I love it. Yeah, I just did that. Yeah. Okay. 11:40:11 Okay. 11:40:13 Perfect. So that's fantastic. Thank you. But… Hi, Jason. 11:40:21 Hello, I see Luna in the back too, which is hilarious. 11:40:16 You're welcome. Hi, everybody. 11:40:25 She won't come in there. She's like Just hanging in there. 11:40:26 Thank you. 11:40:27 Oh, picky. So you mentioned. 11:40:31 There's you. She's outside. 11:40:33 Okay, they're going to get locked in here if you don't go home. 11:40:36 Good girl. 11:40:38 Okay. Okay, thanks. 11:40:40 In person, I was invited to go to vegas with a old coach friend to this guy's… It's called his James Malenchuk. I don't know if any of you Okay. 11:40:57 Yep, I know it came. 11:40:58 I'm very familiar. I would tread cautiously. 11:41:00 I know him very well. 11:41:01 Okay, so I need to know everything that there is to know because I'm going with, I didn't pay for this session. 11:41:09 I'm going with my coach. I'm just paying for my ticket and, you know, hotel. 11:41:16 And I think she called me because her other friend can't go and she said like we're going to walk the room. You talk to this side of the room. I talk to that side of the room. And We send people to each other. 11:41:29 And she's very good at promoting me And I'm good at promoting her, but I want to know, and it's been like I'm in Canada, most of our like everything is on Zoom. I don't do in-person networking anymore i used to 11:41:47 Yeah, so… 11:41:47 Anyways, what I need to be aware of this guy, because I'm not going to buy any products from him. 11:41:54 Don't. Do not. 11:41:56 Okay, tell me. Okay. 11:41:57 So I worked with James for a year and And I've been tourism events and he is quite salesy Although he could have changed since COVID, but he has really good information. However, on speaking Is that the event you're going to, the big money speaker boot camp? 11:42:18 Yeah. Yeah, I think it's, let me see. You confirm VIP private code. It's coaching mastermind. 11:42:28 Oh, it's a mastermind. Where is it? Is it a house or is it 11:42:31 Oh, it's no it's uh in uh in a hotel. It's Embassy suite hotel In Vegas. 11:42:39 So it's probably a smaller group. And he's going to push his mastermind. So of course you don't need to buy, but it will be people. He doesn't teach website stuff and he um 11:42:56 He attracts a lot of people that speak to schools and associations and conferences and corporate For paid speaking. And just so you're aware right he'll still attract a lot of people that want to speak for free for leads and stuff. 11:43:13 He's kind of pushy and so he'd be like, well, I'm not going to pay attention to you if you don't buy the thing or whatever. So he's kind of like that. 11:43:21 That's okay. My thing is that I'm actually there to… to promote myself as the person who builds lead generation, who builds the lead magnets and stuff like that and does the technical work that the speakers don't know how to. 11:43:40 Yeah. 11:43:40 Or don't want to do it. And my question is that what do I bring to those sessions to be prepared? Like I really liked your form to have it there. 11:43:54 You need order forms. You don't need… fill in slips, however, because you're not doing an exhibitor booth or any of that and you're going to exchange business cards. People there will have business cards most likely. 11:44:01 Yeah. 11:44:05 And you'll want to connect with them on LinkedIn and do private messages and all that while you're there. 11:44:15 I wouldn't do you have any books 11:44:17 I do, but it's the same book that the same coach built and I have one page in it. I normally don't take it with me and she's there. So she probably has the books with her. 11:44:30 I can take them. Sorry? 11:44:30 But I would still bring a couple. I was so grateful. Okay. 11:44:34 He's all about books and credibility and authority and all that kind of stuff. So it would be good to show that at least you're in a book. 11:44:43 Okay. 11:44:43 And that's Who knows what he's i mean i don't know what he's selling now. I don't know if he's selling book opportunities or what. 11:44:50 But I've known him for since 2000. Five from way back from the Allie Brown days, okay? 11:44:57 Okay. 11:44:59 So, um. But yeah. 11:45:04 I would just be prepared for the order obviously don't pull out your order forms because he's very much copyright this copyright that buy the book. This is my event. Don't be Don't be trying to. 11:45:15 Yeah, I've seen him. I've seen him go after people like no at his event like So just be subtle. 11:45:21 Yeah. Be prepared to do it on the slide at cocktails or dinner or coffee in the morning or at lunch, not during yeah Yeah. But I mean. 11:45:30 Okay. 11:45:32 He attracts people that want more And he pushes people. And so he's going to give them advice. And I think you're going to be able a lot of people that do what you do don't show up. So I think it's a good thing. 11:45:43 Yeah, I think it's a good match. And he attracts i worked with him. I think I met him in oh seven And then I was in this mastermind for two years But I had a breakdown with one of his other programs and it was a debacle and he said he would 11:46:02 Help me get my money back. And Stephanie and he blew me off. And I was like, okay, I'm done. 11:46:08 Wow. 11:46:08 So yeah, it was it started off great and then it started off great But I met some cool people and there's beginnings do, there's beginning speakers And then there's usually people who are already speaking, but they want more. 11:46:23 Mm-hmm. Okay, so it's what 11:46:22 So those are great for website stuff. But just with caution because he also attracts sketchy people too, in my experience. 11:46:33 I was around him for quite a few years. And then I would see him at Dan Kennedy stuff and I just saw him at PodFest. 11:46:42 Okay. The person that I'm going with, I really trust her. 11:46:47 But at the same time that I know that she never does anything that is not to her benefit. So I know there is a reason she invited me there. 11:47:02 Yeah. 11:47:00 So she probably feels it too i mean I believe that going to events like this where you can get in front of other entrepreneurs that could use your thing is the number one marketing strategy that anybody can use these days. 11:47:15 I think online pales in comparison. 11:47:16 Don't cop out. Do their thing. 11:47:15 Yeah. 11:47:20 Huh? 11:47:20 Should I go and do the thing or just Check it out council 11:47:26 I don't know the environment when you say it's a mastermind that means different things. I don't know what his promise is for the event. 11:47:35 Is everybody getting in the hot seat and you're going to put something in the hot seat. You're going to do the hot seat. 11:47:35 Yeah. 11:47:44 If you are, then you got to go prepared because you're going to get some laser advice kind of like this. 11:47:39 Yeah, apparently you can be in the hot seat But I don't know much about 11:47:49 And you want to be prepared to come with an actual thing that people can help you solve. 11:47:56 Okay. 11:47:56 So you might want to work through your presentation or slides or something really tangible. I've gotten help with him from my talks and all this stuff. 11:48:06 Now, some of the stuff he taught me about my talks and presentations. 11:48:17 Yeah. 11:48:11 I didn't necessarily use some stuff I did some stuff I didn't because I've had at least four different speaker coaches Okay. And so I pulled stuff from each of them and I have not done any entire thing that any one coach has told me because it didn't fit. 11:48:26 So just know that. 11:48:29 Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I'm not necessarily going for his training training, but I'm going for the networking and hopefully getting a few clients out of it. And thank you. I will be very careful not to approach anybody during the 11:48:49 I'm going to say, hey, let's meet together for cocktails later or let's do dinner. 11:48:48 Masterclass. Yeah. 11:48:53 You know that's how you do it. 11:48:54 I think the thing too is that you're not going to necessarily get clients. You're going to go get contacts. 11:49:01 Yeah. 11:49:05 Territorial. 11:49:01 Yeah, be careful because he's very Territorial yeah 11:49:07 And to be honest with you, if somebody's coming up to me and trying to pitch me while I'm at that event, I would be suspect but I think that the best thing to do is just go with the idea that you're going to meet people 11:49:24 Who are prospects for you. 11:49:26 Yeah, that's actually in general that's me not a pitcher that way. 11:49:35 I just connect with people and if it's right we take it to the next level. 11:49:40 You might also look for some joint venture people if there's anybody that seems like they have a pretty established business where you could come in and teach a class to their clients on what they need to do with their websites. 11:49:52 I think that is a good opportunity. So anytime I go to an event. 11:49:55 I'm looking for prospects, speaking gigs and referral sources. 11:50:03 Perfect. Thank you. 11:50:07 So, I mean, you pick the most salesy guy out there to go to his conference, but that's okay. 11:50:12 Hey, if it's free, like he doesn't hardly do anything for free. Usually you want to mastermind and stuff, you got to pay at least 15 grand so 11:50:19 Now, my coach actually, she paid. I think she is in his like 25 grand program But she can bring one person with her. 11:50:31 The normal person that goes with her can't go this year. 11:50:31 Yeah. 11:50:35 So that's why i'm Like I'm a replacement. 11:50:40 And it's with Canada-US thing right now, it's very expensive to go But I had said yes before all of this happened. 11:50:52 Well, and what's a website? If you just get, I don't know how many people are going to go there. So if it's not as big money event. 11:50:57 Yeah. She said somewhere between 50 to 100. 11:51:10 Yeah. 11:50:59 Which could be a couple hundred. Okay, so assume so your goal would be like 10% to find five people five people did websites with you over the next year for X dollars. 11:51:16 Would that cover your expenses and profit? That's kind of what you want to look at. 11:51:22 Okay. I'm going to Las Vegas. 11:51:22 Where are you going? Oh, Las Vegas, okay. 11:51:29 Yeah. Thank you. 11:51:34 I appreciate that. 11:51:33 Yeah. I don't know if you've heard the story. I told it at the business conference this weekend, but I went to Elisa Saskovich event back in 2008 or nine. 11:51:43 If you know who Lisa Sasovich is, The Invisible Clothes she has a three-day event on sales and it's an enrollment event where she teaches a lot of things, puts a couple of her friends on stage, yada, yada. And then she sells a 11:51:55 15 to $100,000 package, right? Two different packages Of which I was a part of for two years. 11:52:03 But one year I went and I had my live big mastermind binders with me, my little packets that I give to people when they want to join. I give them out at my event. 11:52:12 My events that I was doing. And I had two with me in hopes that I would find somebody they want to join my mastermind and join me instead of hers. 11:52:20 Because I give a lot more access. She barely gives you any access and so I had lunch with a gal who had just, she just posted on my thing the other day And signed a $40,000 contract to work with somebody for 11:52:34 The year. So at somebody else's enrollment event because I had the packet ready to go. 11:52:39 So have a contract, have a Contract. Seriously. 11:52:42 Wow. That's great. 11:52:41 Mm-hmm. 11:52:45 So, I mean, that's, like I said, it's the only one I've ever done like that, but 40 Quiet. She's completely, right? I mean, she was just saying it in the post yesterday We met, at least not so good where I'm on her program instead of yours. 11:52:58 Okay. 11:53:02 That was so funny. 11:53:02 So I can create two, like I can have two contracts, one for lead magnets and one for websites and If something happened. 11:53:12 Okay. 11:53:10 A few copies. Yes. So on top of this, maybe not an order form. I mean, I have a lot of products, right? So, and books and stuff. If you don't have that. 11:53:19 Just have a little something that so either an order form that has one, two packages. And then, no, I'm not ready to sign up yet, but I'd love to do a call with you. Click that box with all their contacts. See? 11:53:36 Okay, here, let me find that for you because… I know I have samples of that. 11:53:47 I'm so happy you're having this call today. 11:53:46 Okay. Well, I'm looking for that, does anybody else have any, because I have a hard stop at noon. Anybody else have a… question or anything they want to talk through from that? 11:53:58 Or anything that sparked conversation that we were talking about here. 11:54:10 This is random, but… I was part of a group book Last year, and I was told that they could only have one author on the author page But there's actually a second author on the author page I noticed this weekend. 11:54:26 Amazon? On Amazon? 11:54:27 Do you, I'm sorry? On Amazon? 11:54:31 You can have 10 authors total on a group book. 11:54:35 Okay, so how do I get that changed? 11:54:38 Whoever published it or put it on Kindle should know. If they don't know, that 11:54:44 Yeah, I mean, this person was, it was a horrific experience. 11:54:49 Well, there's something you can do to get your, like if you have, if you created an author profile. 11:54:55 I have an author page. I have an author page for my first book 11:55:00 But on Amazon, you should have an author profile that has all the books that you're a part of. 11:55:07 Okay. Okay. 11:55:05 Or any that you've created yourself. And so if it doesn't, because you're not named in it, all you have to do is take a snapshot of the table of contents or your chapter the cover of the book and send it into Amazon and they will then add that book. They'll verify it, but then they'll add that book to your author 11:55:23 Okay, cool. 11:55:22 Profile on Amazon. They won't add it to the list of names however That has to be done by the publisher inside wherever they set up the book. 11:55:34 Okay. So I can reach out to her again too. Even though I don't think she'll… Who knows? 11:55:42 Okay, here's an example of an order form real quick. 11:55:54 Oh, I see. 11:55:54 This is all This is one of Lisa Sassevich's, and I have some like this too. It's just the fastest So she has so she has her low offer on top, I would flip it and put the high offer on top, the one that you really want them to buy. Well, the way she did it here was that 11:56:11 This is your first easy yes, right? And then this one includes this and this one here includes the above two, et cetera, right? 11:56:21 But then she has down here, Lisa, I'd rather just have a day of your advice for 5,000. 11:56:26 Everything, number three plus full day with blah, blah, blah. You see, so if you have a couple of different offers, if you have full website here 90 minute here, lead gen here. And I'm not sure if I'm ready to buy yet, but let's schedule a call here. 11:56:47 Yeah. 11:56:43 Okay. And add me to your email list. So you might have the fourth thing there and then you have the full contact and they can fill out the full contact okay So this is done on PowerPoint, but you could do it however you'd want to do it. 11:56:53 Okay. 11:57:00 But having one 11:56:58 Okay, good. And I keep this paper and maybe I can, I get them to take a screenshot of like a take a photo of that or I do that and text it to them so they have they know they signed up to 11:57:16 Well, they'll get a receipt as soon as they sign up for something, they'll get an email, right? Or a receipt. 11:57:20 Yeah. Yeah. 11:57:22 That's the goal. But you can give that. So this is where you have like 30 copies of it in your purse. 11:57:29 Someone fills one out, you take that. And you give them a blank one so they know what they got. 11:57:34 Yeah. Okay. 11:57:39 Yeah. 11:57:33 That's what I do. Now, you can get a two part one, but those require lots more time to And it's not necessarily necessary so So that's what I would do. 11:57:48 Perfect. 11:57:48 From that. But that way they can see all your offers on the one form and they don't have to buy and they can just sign up for the call with you. 11:57:59 And get on your email list.
